About Me

I began college at the University Of Nebraska at Omaha full time studying criminal justice two weeks later. The next semester I transferred a couple hours away from home to the University Of Nebraska at Kearney. By my second year of college I began working at juvenile group homes during breaks from school and doing internships with juvenile and adult probation and parole.

After I graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Criminal Justice Comprehensive in 2001 I moved back to Omaha, NE to attend Creighton Law School. The summer after my first year of law school I obtained a federal grant working with the Office of Juvenile Services to develop a program designed to help juveniles who had been incarcerated transition back into the community.

My third year of law school I interned and worked closely with the United States Attorney’s Office, District Of Nebraska and prosecuted several federal cases. I received my Juris Doctorate with an Area of Concentration in Criminal Law from Creighton University in 2004. Two days later I moved to Dallas, Texas.
